The human figure is perhaps the most challenging subject for artists because drawing a nude leaves you without any of the familiar beginning points, for instance, a collar or a fold in the clothing. You just have to find an ‘interesting’ line, one that catches your eye, and begin. When in this class I was a beginning artist and it shows in my work in these studies, but as I continue to draw and paint, I continue to learn and grow in my art. Bodies are beautiful and are wonderful to draw. What a great privilege this class was!
